The 2026 SMSC East Coast Ship Collector's meeting and Miniature Ship Show is in the books.
We had a great 1/1250 scale weekend, September 25- 27, 2026!
On Friday we met at a collector’s home for an evening of good food, drinks and conversation surrounding his amazing collection. Special thanks to John and Phylis for hosting!
Saturday’s miniature ship show was a lot of fun. Nice turnout and everyone left with plenty of new models to enjoy!
We braved the wet weather to tour the Liberty Ship, John W Brown, on Sunday. SS John W. Brown (Project Liberty Ship)’s volunteers were incredibly knowledgeable, and the ship itself was in fantastic condition for its age. If you are in Baltimore please visit this national treasure.
Thanks to everyone who travelled to make it. I had a blast meeting many new people and learning that there are more DC locals in the hobby than I thought.
Looking forward to what comes next!
